Our Company History
1980 Founded by W. Kiener jun. as Engineering Company m.b.H. (restricted liability)
Thanks to many years of cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Production and
Automatization technique (IPA), the company owner is closely involved in assembly and
probing technique.
1990 New construction of company building, 600 m² office space, 100 m² production face.
In the meantime, complete machines and systems are built, including development,
manufacture, assembly and complete electrics.
Renaming in Kiener Maschinenbau GmbH. 60 employees
1992 Extension of delivery volume by newly integrated field of coating technology
1995 Foundation of LACOM-Vertriebs GmbH as autonomous company for the world-wide
sales and project engineering of coating systems. 5 employees
1996 Foundation of KIENER Hungaria Kft.
Autonomous subsidiary company with own development, manufacture,
mechanical and electrical assembly. 10 employees
1997 Extension of production surface to 2000m² 85 employees
2000 Extension of office surface to 950 m²
Extension of production surface to 2500m² 110 employees
2003 New office building with 600 m² 163 employees
Office surface and assembly shop floor with 2500 m² plant Hungary 66 employees
